Paul Klemm has been a local musician in Corpus Christi for over 15 years. Playing flute, bassoon, saxophone and singing professionally for years has made him lots of musical contacts. Lisa spent many years marveling at how many talented friends Paul had. In late 2009, the Klemms made the leap of faith and Paul went into music full-time. First order of business….find work!

Naturally, the first thought is to get in with a local talent agency….after all, they find musicians work right? Well…..not so much…..talk about NOT INTERESTED……Classical? No thanks…….and that was IF we got a call back……so that little seed was planted in Lisa’s mind…..there is a serious VOID in this town for booking classical musicians……and the service from the local agencies was……let’s just say….less than stellar…..

So what is a starving musician to do? Go out there and find the work himself! Of course, as a flute player, we went to the wedding planners first….they loved the idea of adding him or his flute quartet Absoflutely! to a wedding……. but they also often asked…..”do you happen to know a classical guitar guy?” or “any idea where I can get a couple of trumpet players?”…….

And that is when Little Dog Entertainment was born……..

Of COURSE we know of a classical guitar guy! Of COURSE we know how to get a couple of trumpet players! Best of all, we were sending work to all our talented friends! Musicians we KNOW and TRUST to deliver a great performance for a reasonable fee!

It’s just a win-win-win all around! We make our clients look GREAT by providing them incredible, professional entertainment, all within their budget! And our musician friends are happy we are finding them work! And we get to work with incredible people all over town and help make events like weddings, corporate events and holiday celebrations even MORE special by the addition of LIVE music!

And BEST OF ALL, we don’t charge our clients ANYTHING to use the “Fetching” services of Little Dog…..that’s RIGHT….our clients pay ONLY for the musician and the musician pays a small fee to Little Dog for finding them work…..So not only will LDE “fetch” you a great band or DJ or flute quartet or string quartet or vocalist or bagpipes or dancers or ANYTHING…….YOU don’t pay anything additional for our services…..YEP…it’s TRUE!
